Understanding

Tuition and Scholarship Options

DSOCD is a private charter school offering multiple payment and funding options:

  • Private Pay: Parents are able to pay their child’s tuition themselves.
  • Ohio’s Ed Choice Scholarship Program: A state-funded scholarship program for families in need or in districts with low-performing test scores.
  • Title XX: A childcare assistance program through ODJFS.

Who is Eligible for Enrollment?

DSOCD welcomes students from all backgrounds. Students must be at least 6 weeks of age or older to enroll. No testing required for application – all are welcome at Della School of Coding and Design.

Frequently Asked Questions

We accept children starting at 6 weeks old through 8th grade. Our programs include infant care, preschool, elementary (K–5), middle school (6–8), and extended child care options.

We recommend enrolling early, as seats are limited. Our priority and open enrollment windows typically run in spring and early summer. After that, we accept students on a rolling basis as space allows.

Some age groups and classrooms may have a waitlist depending on the time of year. We still encourage you to apply—our team will walk you through next steps and notify you when space becomes available.

You’ll need:

  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of residency (utility bill, lease, etc.)
  • Immunization records
  • Any IEP or 504 plans (if applicable)

All of our programs are full-day to best support student learning and family schedules. This includes infant care, preschool, and K–8.

Yes! We provide extended care from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with optional weekend care available. Your child stays safe, supported, and engaged from morning to evening.

Yes! We provide a nutritious breakfast and lunch daily, plus a healthy snack or warm evening meal for students in aftercare. Meals are included in tuition or scholarship funding.

We use a restorative and relationship-based approach. We believe in teaching responsibility, offering structure, and supporting students as they learn to make respectful choices.

No entrance testing is required. We believe in access for all families, and our staff will work with you to determine the best starting point for your child’s growth and support.
