Dress Code & Uniforms

We are proud to have a dress code and uniform at DSOCD. We encourage and expect our students to observe and comply with our standards by wearing their uniforms daily. Wearing uniforms enhances school excellence, pride, unity, and community spirit. Students are still expected to maintain a certain level of appropriate dress during dress-down days. On dress-down days, we ask that students observe traditional school dress code rules: fingertip-length skirts, shorts, and dresses, sufficiently covered shoulders, clothing without inappropriate slogans or images, and no hats. In addition to dress-down days we also celebrate holidays like Halloween. We ask that students refrain from inappropriate costumes, weapons, and masks during these celebrations.
